Featuring a Pumper format and an opens format. Over just 90 minutes, climb as many routes as you can to take out the Pumper category or the most difficult 8 routes you can for the opens format. Glory and Prizes awards to category winners.
Starting from 7pm till 8pm we will run the infamous crate climbing challenge! Current record holder is Caitlyn at 14 crates tall. Reckon you can beat that?
We're dusting off our BBQ for some free snags, minute steaks, onion, bread and sauces available from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Another classic challenge for rock climbers. Easier with your climbing shoes on in my opinion. Can you make it around our party table without touching the ground?
At Hangdog we'll use any excuse to dress up! When the gym opened 30 years ago, climbers were still lycra-clad from the 80's and continued well into the 90's. So that's our dress code, the 80's/90's and even better an 80's/90's climber!
The team from Climbing Anchors will be on site all afternoon showcasing their newest brands and products plus plenty of shoes to demo AND stock to purchase on the night too!
